Gruppo Selleria Equipe proudly took part in the prestigious TEAM SPORT circuit of the Italian Champions Tour 2024, an event that brought together internationally renowned horses and riders in four high-level stages. This event provided a spectacular platform to showcase the talent and passion of our team, made up of Nico Lupino, Lorenzo Correddu, Roberto Previtali, and Giacomo Casadei. Coordinating everything was team manager Giacomo Bicego, the commercial representative for Italy at Gruppo Selleria Equipe.
The Circuit: A 4-Stage Journey for Great Emotions
The Italian Champions Tour 2024 took place in four stages, each with its own unique atmosphere and thrilling competitions:
Arezzo (April 12-13): The first stage kicked off the circuit with exciting competitions at one of Italy's most prestigious equestrian venues.
Rome, Villa Borghese (May 24-25): Set against a historic and picturesque backdrop, riders faced top-level courses in the heart of Italy's capital.
San Giovanni in Marignano (October 25-26): A pivotal stage in the calendar, with competitions that kept everyone on the edge of their seats until the final jump.
Verona (November 7-8-9): The final act of the circuit took place during the latest edition of Fieracavalli, one of the most important equestrian events in the world.
Verona: The Grand Finale at Fieracavalli 2024
The final stage in Verona was nothing short of extraordinary. The city of Romeo and Juliet became the epicenter of international equestrianism for four days.
Inside the large indoor arena of Fieracavalli, riders competed in an atmosphere filled with pure adrenaline. Coinciding with Jumping Verona, which hosted the only Italian stage of the World Cup Show Jumping series, more than 160,000 passionate fans filled the stands, cheering every jump and performance.
A High-Level Circuit
The TEAM SPORT circuit featured a total prize pool of €270,000, with courses reaching heights of up to 1.45m. This format highlighted the talent of the riders and the exceptional preparation of the horses, all of whom were already well-known for their participation in national and international events.
