On January 28th, Gruppo Selleria Equipe had the honor of representing the best of Made in Italy in Jeddah at the inauguration of Villaggio Italia and the arrival of the Amerigo Vespucci training ship. The event also hosted the official presentation of Veronafiere and, in particular, of Fieracavalli 2025. With over 126 years of history, Fieracavalli is the leading global event for the equestrian world, successfully combining sport, tourism, culture, and innovation. Every year, it attracts more than 160,000 visitors and 750 exhibitors from over 60 countries. It also promotes equestrian tourism, a sector that has been growing between 5% and 7% annually. In Italy, it counts over 2,000 facilities, offering sustainable experiences amidst breathtaking landscapes and cultural itineraries. The global horse industry, valued at over $300 billion, generates an annual turnover of €3 billion in Italy alone and creates more than 100,000 jobs. It is a key industry that spans breeding, sport, and entertainment. Fieracavalli also celebrates Italy’s renowned craftsmanship, featuring iconic brands such as Equipe and Amerigo, known for their high-quality saddles; Kask, a leader in equestrian helmets; and Fratelli Fabbri, makers of boots that combine elegance and functionality. The Jeddah stop celebrates the Arabian horse, a symbol of tradition and culture, strengthening the bond between Italy and Saudi Arabia through the promotion of collaborations in tourism and equestrian sport. Tania Rigon, one of the three owners of Gruppo Selleria Equipe who attended the event, commented: "Being ambassadors of Made in Italy at such a prestigious event is a great honour. We strongly believe in the importance of preserving and promoting shared values that unite passion, respect, and a commitment to excellence. These values inspire everything we do, while also encouraging us to engage with different perspectives, which are a constant source of inspiration and both personal and professional growth.”
