Giacomo Casadei, born on September 1, 2002, is an extraordinary talent in the world of show jumping. Raised in a family deeply connected to equestrian sports, he started riding at a young age, inspired by his father Mirco, an Italian champion and technical trainer for the Italian Equestrian Federation.
Giacomo's sports career has been a rapid ascent to the elite level of the sport. In 2016, at just 13 years old, he won the team silver medal at the Junior European Championships. The following year, his talent took him even higher, as he secured team gold and individual silver in the same competition, earning his qualification for the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires 2018, where he fulfilled his dream of winning the gold medal.
In 2018, Giacomo made history by becoming the youngest rider ever to compete at the prestigious CSIO in Rome, set in the stunning Piazza di Siena. His maturity and skill in the saddle left everyone in awe.
